NEW FACILITIES AT WALLINGTON PRIMARY SCHOOL
More students on the Bellarine and surrounds now have access to upgraded school facilities to help deliver a world-class education thanks to the Allan Labor Government’s record-breaking investment in school upgrades.
Member for Bellarine Alison Marchant MP today visited the new, upgraded, state-of-the-art classrooms and learning spaces, including upgraded works on the main building. The new facilities commenced construction earlier this year and are now complete.
The school received $2.1 million in the 2023–24 State Budget to upgrade classrooms and learning spaces.
Additionally, through the Department’s Inclusive Schools Fund, the school secured over $180,000 to build an inclusive playground, which was completed in 2024.
New and modern school buildings contribute to school pride for students, parents and the wider community, building their engagement with education.
The Victorian Government is investing record funding in our schools to make Victoria the Education State.
The Labor Government has now invested $18.5 billion over the past 11 years to build new schools and deliver more than 2,300 school upgrades − supporting more than 30,000 jobs in construction and associated industries.
